After seeing some of the comments over the past few weeks especially regarding where can I get access to The Video Boss videos, I am going to start to provide direct access to the top video, audio MP3 files and PDFs of free product launch content that I find particularly useful which I have collated over the years.

This is only content that is being made available as part of the internet marketing guru product launches and is not surreptitiously obtained from unknown sources if you know what I mean!

I can’t believe the hours of video and audio I have collated once I have now started to analyze it – amazing! One guy who I have followed for years especially since he is a blogger about the Internet and more specifically Internet Marketing is Yaro Starak. Yaro has moved the freeline yet again and provided a 72 page downloadable PDF file plus an audio mp3 of the same product all about how to start a membership site called the Membership Site Masterplan. In the usual bullish way the title is “How To Make $250,000 By Launching Your Own Membership Site“.

Yaro has provided this free report as part of the relaunch of Membership Site Mastermind which is a six week training course about the model Yaro uses to run a  number of his membership sites.

Membership Site Masterplan Review

Reviewing the free masterplan PDF that Yaro provides shows that this is very very detailed for a free report and when you start reading this, you can see the technologies and more importantly the psychology behind why he does things and when. The style is very conversational and discusses various options e.g. possible ways to deliver the content, how to collect payments and so on.

At the end of the day – the technology side is the simple part e.g. WordPress is Yaro’s technology of choice now and I couldn’t agree more – note this blog is WordPress and I intend to develop a membership component built on this site too. The real key for a membership site and this is where the Membership Site Masterplan really succeeds is the other components which you need to thing about namely:

1. Social triggers to influence people to join
   These are – Provide social proof, proof, reciprocity, risk reversal and urgency
2. Pricing
   How much, how often and how to collect
3. Value & Content - The importance of perceived value and content.
   A simple way of understanding if the content is good is the retention rate of the members
4. Pre-Launch vs Launch
   What to give out, how long to take and so on

Obviously in a free report, the information is fairly high level but it does well in giving you the bare bones to start your own membership site but the real detail clearly is in the membership site mastermind course

If there is one video I recommend you watch it is Core Influence from Frank Kern which has just been released for free to all Frank’s subscribers as part of a new launch which will be big as always. They talk about moving the freeline and this is moving it – Why? well the only way to get it before is as part of Mass Control or a special bonus for other people’s products e.g. Traffic Secrets or buying it like I did

I bought this just before Christmas 2009 as part of Frank’s holiday launch and even though I had heard a bit about it before hand, quite simply I was blown away by what he was saying and to think he was unsure about even giving this content as part of the seminar it was recorded at.

I won’t dwell on the content other than to say the first 20 mins is pretty average (basically just showing the less than six degrees of separation between everybody – IT IS TRUE!) but the rest is absolute GOLD CONTENT.

Let me explain the key points of core influence (please let me know if you agree with me):

1. Do something that you enjoy and what your customers will enjoy
   Do not do something that you don’t feel comfortable with – how to check that well could you be friends with your customers?
2. Be open honest and congruent with yourself – Note: Frank uses congruency and congruent a lot! What are your core influences?
3. And the big exercise below – which you must do as this is very powerful

Write down your average day from start to finish

• This is your thoughts, your actions – e.g. what you have for breakfast, who is with you, what next – where do you work and so on
• The idea behind this is to get YOU focussed on where you need to get to to have this perfect day and what your REAL motivation is
