From time to time you get good emails with great content provided by the internet marketing gurus and yes, Andy Jenkins has done it again – see my previous post like this -

Butterfly Marketing Open Source Code

I am sure you have received a ton of emails asking you to download Mike Filsaime’s Butterfly Marketing Open Source code – I know I have so have not bombarded you with another post along these lines. Anyway, what Andy Jenkins has done is send an email promoting it AND suggests ways to utilize this software to make money – AWESOME Andy.

Note: If you are interested in this, these are Andy Jenkins’s affiliate links in here as this is his email content

So, without further ado, here it is:

Andy Jenkins’s Affiliate Email for Mike Filsaimes Butterfly Marketing

SUBJECT: Go start this business for yourself right now please!

Main Body of Email

Check this out - today I’ve got a little bonus business start
up idea that you could probably put together by the end of the
week.

1. Go here where Old Filsaime is giving away Open Source
rights to his Butterfly Marketing membership site software.
Yeah, he’s giving away software that was part of a $2000
package.

http://paydotcom.com/r/98388/andyjenkins

This is SERIOUS software. For a long time this was the only
real contender for making a killer paid membership site – and
I DO KNOW a thing or two about making money with membership
sites.

BUT WAIT! That’s NOT what I want you to do to start your business. No sir – you won’t be making a membership site.

Here’s what I think you should do, and whoever does this will make a SWEET little business.

2. Go find a place where you can get a reseller account for hosting.

3. Do some screen capture videos of yourself installing and configuring and USING Mike’s script. Make them tutorial over-the-shoulder style.

4. Create a package deal where the tutorial videos are FREE if they buy hosting with you. Then do a one time offer upsell to install and configure the script FOR them.

That’s it. Instant recurring income, with a chance for some big cash up front for easy work. After all, you already know how to install the script, right?

Note: You DON’T have to be a membership site expert to pull this off – ALL YOU HAVE TO DO is figure out how to install this and set it up.

You don’t even have to DISTRIBUTE it. You can let Mike give them the script.

TONS of people are downloading this script right now. It’s all over the internet and all the big boys are mailing. And listen, I guarantee that no matter how easy Mike made it…

People are going to biff it and get frustrated and they’re going to need a superhero.

So put on your cape and go rescue them!

Here’s an OPTIONAL step if you want to go nuts. If you get some cash to reinvest, I’d do two things.

FIRST: Get some customizations done to Mike’s script and start distributing your OWN souped up, exclusive version. After all, he’s giving you the FULL resell/PLR/whatever rights with it here.

http://paydotcom.com/r/98388/andyjenkins

So when you do that, you have a unique position in the market with a custom product, and you’re already established as an expert with this software by this time.

That means a PREMIUM price. How premium? Well, Mike sold this software plus some tutorials for $2000. Speaking of tutorials…

SECOND: Get in touch with a REAL Membership site expert that you can JV with and create some exclusive content that will help your customers actually EARN with the script.

You can then just give that away monthly to your customers, or it would justify raising your monthly fees as well.

THIRD: Once you have a bunch of this JV content together, use YOUR script and make a MEMBERSHIP site. Make it a premium price, monthly recurring, and throw in installation and hosting for free.

You could then probably upsell coaching, because at this point, you really ARE an expert in successful membership sites!

That’s it. Seriously, someone go do this right now and then come back to tell me how much you made. But the whole strategy kind of hinges on THIS script:

http://paydotcom.com/r/98388/andyjenkins

This is what’s hot RIGHT NOW and there’s demand RIGHT NOW. So you have to move fast. GO GO GO! And GOOD LUCK!

~ Andy

P.S. Of course, Mike’s script is a premium membership site script, so if you just want to jump ahead to the last one there and just make one of those – it’s pretty much how I make my living, so – GO DO IT! The software’s easy to get:

http://paydotcom.com/r/98388/andyjenkins

What is this c..p. The whole bonus thing for product launches is now seriously out of control with everyone trying to have one up on their peers during Frank Kern’s List Control launch.

I cannot believe how many emails I have received from people offering some amazing material. Do you really need that bonus when you consider what frank is “throwing in” with List Control i.e. JV Control, Product Control and Copy Control. Frank says this too!

For those of you who are keen in buying List Control here are the list of bonuses I have seen which is some serious cash being thrown about starting with what I believe is the number one bonus.

Just reviewing the collection of bonuses on offer from the “gurus” I have the following comments:

The type of bonus is getting smarter – see e.g. Chris Carpenter – choose your own bonus, Jeff Johnson – we’ll build stuff for you and Andy Jenkins

I commend John Reese for not offering a bonus

Most internet marketers cannot compete with the big guys in terms of the size of bonuses – bigger is clearly better!

You do not need all these bonuses to get your business going. TAKE ACTION with what you have and what you can gleam from the launches

It’s not often I read all of a blog post from some of the internet marketers out there but this post from Andy Jenkins gave a ton of advice and is thoroughly recommended to read. I have taken out the 7 key points that Andy talked about about how he began again after leaving StomperNet and it is very insightful into what anyone can do and also looking at Andy as a person

1. Blog – The first site I built once I was on the west coast and settled in was AndyJenkinsBlog.com. I needed a place for people who knew me to find me again. And I needed a place for people to discover me. Having been on the web since before blogs existed, I have to say it’s my preferred “personality platform” nowadays. I can post my content, get comments, branch off into social sites like twitter, and build my list, right from the same site.
GAVIN Comment- Blogs and particularly using WordPress is the absolute must way to use the Internet now. If I can be blunt – other systems such as Drupal and Joomla just do not cut it and the days of just HTML are long gone.

2. List – As I mentioned above, if you want true leverage in an online business, you can’t depend on traffic sources you don’t control directly. They always say “the money is in the list” and dang if “they” aren’t right in this case. The very 2nd thing I did on my blog was to add a list opt-in and start getting subscribers

3. Content – Obviously, a blog is no good without content. So I did a couple of rock-solid freebies that proved VERY popular out there on the web. I posted them to the blog, and I emailed my list to come and get it and share it. It worked. Bigtime! I’m talking about a list of 10K subscribers built BEFORE I ever got ready to launch Video Boss, built entirely on the strength of the content on the blog

4. Offers – Now as I pointed out earlier, Video Boss was far from ready all these months ago. I knew I couldn’t just build up an audience based on freebies because without offers being made periodically, people would resent being marketed to later. Of course, selling stuff and getting paid is a good reason to make offers, too. Without anything ready in my own product line, I promoted some rock solid stuff that was in line with the values I’d already established in my free content.

There are things that I know to be important in online business, and I promote products that will help my students reach those ends. I promote the BEST ones I can find. But there’s an ulterior motive there too. The people with the best products being offered ALSO have high-quality lists filled with customers who care about quality… and are willing to pay a premium.

5. Product – If you’ve been paying attention this month, you’ve seen me launch my “Video Boss” coaching program. I’d been developing this in the background the whole time I’d been doing the other stuff. But you’ll notice I didn’t start with the product first. I began building an audience, and a JV promotional channel, and a list building platform SIMULTANEOUSLY.

The interactions I had with partners and their launches, and with my blog and list subscribers HEAVILY influenced the development of Video Boss. So much so that if I look at it now and compare it to my first notes, you wouldn’t even recognize it.

6. Repeat – That’s really all there is to it. I’m going to take care of this class of Video Boss members, and while I do, I’ll keep posting great content (like this) to the blog and email list. I’ll keep engaging you in conversation, collecting comments, and thinking about what my next product will be. I’ll keep looking for tools and offers that you can use to grow your business.

7. Be a good guy – This one isn’t required, sadly. There are lots and lots of fortunes built on slimeball tactics and leaving others worse off than you found them.

Summary

Isn’t that just totally open and full of honesty but also full of valuable insights and information in how to start an internet business.

if you are an internet marketing beginner, there is a lot to learn here and if you do not have the know how to do all this, just read my Texas Wealth Club review, you can take the info from here and apply their knowledge to do just this.

Fantastic Andy – well done

Well guys, The Video Boss will have launched by the time you read this since Tuesday 16th february at 4PM EST is when it all happens but depending on where you go, you may not know what it is all about and quite frankly after seeing what is in the content – man this is serious stuff.

What impressed me the most is when Rob Cowie – producer of The Blair Witch Project gave a very impressive testimonial for particularly Andy and when you watch Video 4, you will see what I mean. Check out my reviews of the first 3 videos in andy’s pre-launch at Video 1 Review – Video 2 Review and Video 3 Review

The Video Boss – Course Curriculum

You have 30 days to try the first 4 modules with the usual money back guarantee. the price is $1997 or $388 per month for 6 months.

The modules that you will receive are as follows:

Video Reviews

Video info Products

Behind the scenes of The Video Boss

How to do your own video product launch

Like a Boss Advanced

Some of the key things you will learn – there are way too many to mention here are:

3 more script blueprints

Lead generation videos

Techno babble such as frame rates, bit rates

7 part editing process

Voice over recording and breathing techniques

Camera set-up and on location vs studio

Camera operation angles,exposure etc.

Hard core editors training e.g. sound, motion, timeline and titles

Video SEO with Dan thiess and Leslie Rohde

Social media marketing with Don Crowther

Man is Andy Jenkins good. I have just finished watching video 3 called “Traffic Boss” in his The Video Boss launch series and after watching the first two videos(The Little Boss was excellent) I am impressed with the quality and content about video marketing.

The beginning of the video is exactly like what Google did for their super bowl ad with a bit of andy’s humor added . I guess this is not surprising considering Andy is launching this product about internet video marketing.

This Traffic Boss video in a nutshell is all about the following key areas

Creating a journey in your video and letting the viewer use their own images

A Quick-Case Study of Googles super Bowl Ad

How to make Voice-Overs sound sily smooth

Resources for Royalty Free Stock Music

How to get Videos RANKED, FAST

Exactly what technical specifications you should use for Video Sharing Sites

which for you and me means it contains the following good content.

So, here are the best detailed bits from the video:

Video technical specs

these are the specs you need for video sharing sites only. It is not for hosting from your own servers
Save as mp4 file with H.264 codec
The video size should be either 640×480 or 1280×720 (720p)
Make the bit rate larger than normal – 1500kbps. audio – 128kbps. 2x bigger than on own server.

Video editing

A few great tips were shared to speed videos up by cutting out bits to jump forward, adding video actions to e.g. zoom into parts of your screen and of course adding music to your video- 25% volume if you are doing a voice over

Video sharing sites

Andy recommends to use the free account of TubeMogul with distributes to over 2 dozen sites.

Once your video’s are out on al lthe sites. The best site to get ranked is your YouTube video. the reason is that this site has 1 in 3 online vide views

Royalty free music sites

Here are the recommended sites that Andy uses

musicbakery.com

royaltyfreemusic.com

digitaljuice.com

animationfactory.com

By the way, if you want the mike that Andy uses to make the videos. It is only $39.99($38.74 from Amazon) and is called Logitech Clear Chat Pro USB headset.

If yo uwant to know more about The Traffic Boss series, head on over to my review of all the videos starting with the first video – The Video Boss

I have just finished watching the second video in Andy Jenkins launch of “The Video Boss” series. This time the video is called “The Little Boss” and is all about creating video that closes the sale and all I can say is awesome.

I have just learnt about tons of stuff I had no idea and I have to share this with you. If you missed the first video, you can get my “The Video Boss Video 1 Review”

Andy taught us about a process to create this video that closes the sale i.e. the end of the visitor experience which is the last thing that a person sees while making a decision to buy.

Step 1 -Script of the video

The key thing here is the better the script, the happier the viewer and the way you do it is with Andy’s “The Little Boss FAB Technique”
Look at the product you are trying to sell and make note of the product features, create an advantage per feature and then a benefit as per the below formula:

F = Feature
A = Advantage
B = Benefit

Taking an example that Andy used in his video for a Kodak camera
F – Take Full HD 1080p videos wherever you go
A – Full 1080P is the highest resolution of high definition available
B – Your videos will capture every important detail from your kids cheering smile and those funny moments

This is the basic formula behind successful sales videos, infomercials and direct response advertising.

Step 2 – the Opening Statement

In every video you create, you have 8-15 secs to get attention and you need to make a statement to get the message across. Not surprising there is a formula for this part too:

WATCH – OUTCOME – HELP

Always start with following:

“In this video I’m going to show you why …..”

The aim is to make the viewer concentrate on what’s being said and shown in the video.

the 2nd part is the key outcome that you want them to focus on

the 3rd part is the Why – How Does It Help them?

Step 3 – Get a template and add text and images

Using either Keynote or PowerPoint get a professional design where possible or a free template. It is good if you can find one related to the product you are trying to sell, e.g. “camera template”

The key thing here is that on each slide you need to enter one feature. You will then read the feature, advantage and benefit

The reason is that:
Features = Quantity. The features must be spelled out on the slide
Advantages and Benefits = Quality or Condition. They have emotional value and hearing advantage and benefits. causes feelings to stay with you

You now need to add relevant images to each slide

1. Get an image that represents the feature in action
2. Add emotional images that connect your message with your viewer
3. Use images to make viewers understand

There is a powerful relationship between what is said and what is seen

Step 4 – Add energy to your slides

It is important to give each slide energy as

Every time something moves it resets viewers attention span

You need to create transitions and animations on each item on video an as Andy said, read the manual on how to do this!

Step 5 – Practice your script and record it

Step through a few or dozen times practicing and a tip is to pretend you are telling your story to a friend. When you are ready, start saying your script in presentation mode

In keynote – you can record slideshow and plug in your microphone.
In PowerPoint, you need to use either Camtasia or Camstudioto do the recording.

The End

And that’s Andy’s process. It sounds easy on the surface but I can bet you it will take time to get the text right, find the images to illustrate all the slides and get it right but man that was some good content from him.

Let’s see what Video 3 is like now!

Affiliate Idea using Video

Andy showed a good example using a camera and this should be pretty easy to give this a go by creating a video of a product from amazon in which the link is to your affiliate link. Would this work, I can’t see why not – just got to make sure you can launch amazon from the video. Can this be done easily?

The Little Boss Resources

Here are a few sites that Andy referenced in the video of where to get images from

Clipart.com -very good source of clipart and images
Animation factory - also recommended
DigitalJuice - Professional Animations

And finally, if you want the link to the video – here it is:

http://cdn.kajabi.com/attachments/1/VideoBoss2-Master.mp4

Well, Andy Jenkins is back and after watching the first video of “The Video Boss” you can see we are in for one of those rides a la StomperNet.

I love the way he uses graphics, fonts and of course his usual wit throughout the video. So let me explain what this is all about:

Video Marketing Course Review

What we can see so far is Andy is launching a new product to teach you and I how to use video marketing. To quote his number one thing:

Online Video Gets MORE MONEY than ANYTHING. Period.

The tools and techniques that Andy will be showing us as part of the pre launch videos made over $5,000,000 in sales.

The Video Boss – Video 1 Unplugged!

Video marketing is the easiest, cheapest and fastest way to get traffic
You:

Don’t need a list

Don’t need JV partners

Don’t need slick copywriting skills

Video helped get more traffic and helped convert more and what do big marketers use when its time to launch their stuff – VIDEO

Classic comment from Andy – blah: “Smartest marketers use it – must be good”

What is interesting to not frighten people off is that Andy uses a combination of Apple Keynote and Microsoft PowerPoint to do most of his work

Overall thoughts on Video 1

Classis Internet marketing product launch is in the offing here. Looks like some of Frank Kern’s influence which wouldn’t surprise me with Andy now living in La Jolla. Lots of location shots, dramatic music and of course good quality video production from andy of course.

Very much setting the scene with:

Proof that Andy has done this – $5m of launches

Magic Bullet sales letter, Jeff walker’s Product launch Manager and SEO Brain trust initial video were all done by Andy

Dealing with objections:

Tools are cheap- $39.95 Microphone headset, apple keynote or PowerPoint. Not some expensive microphone and video camera

Competing with amateurs – used “how to bake a cake” as an example so by nature as we know what we are talking about, we must be able to do it

You don’t need to be in the video(scares people) – Andy has been in 5 of his last 50 and one of those he was like an avatar!

More Proof – “NY TImes 10th Nov 2009 – “Online ads are booming if they are attached to video!”
- Video marketing is the fastest growing segment of internet advertising

Video Boss Squeeze Page

Here’s the link to the squeeze page below where it all starts and where you can sign up to get the email sequence with all the videos.

http://www.thevideoboss.com/get-more-money-video

The main focus is How “Regular Folks” who are NOT professional Video-makers are CLEANING UP using simple video marketing strategies

Video 2

This will appear in the next few days and cover case studies of some people utilizing Andy’s methods such as:

On guy who used video and got 4m views
One technique that brought in 90K visitors per month
One guy who multiplied sales by 5x

All the case studies are by not professionals, not video editors, not trained speakers, they all made it up and copied andy’s Video Boss methods.

Will keep you updated in the coming days and maybe weeks on this one

What with Frank Kern, Jeff Johnson, Eben Pagan and Rich Schefren all having relaunches over these past couple of weeks, one of the biggest and most impressive marketing machines out there i.e. Stompernet has been quietly sending out great FREE training material on their blog at http://www.stompernetblog.com from The Net Effect magazine

The one thing about this material that I am impressed with is the detail which has been taken from the paid content in The Net Effect magazine – the monthly newsletter from the Stompernet guys which has a FREE first edition when you get Stomping The Search Engines a top class SEO course for $1.

I have glossed over the material a bit but there has been some pretty interesting material under the guise of posts with [Cheat Sheet] in the title.
How about theses topics:

4 Rules for Making More Money with PageRank

Chase the Long-tail, Not the Wrong-Tail

Create, Control, Converse, CONVERT!

20 Questions for Content Creation

I have put a quick summary of these topics below

4 Rules for Making More Money with Page Rank

This is a very interesting technical article and is key to pointing out the rules to make your Google page rank go higher. here are the three key rules mentioned.

Rule #1: Create More Web Pages

The idea here is that the only thing that creates and holds a Google Page Rank is a web page, it has nothing to do with links.

Rule #2: Your competition dictates how much Page Rank you need.

This means that you need to identify who are your competitors and make sure that your site has more pages than your competition in the market. Once you know how many – beat it

Rule #3: Improve the links between your web pages.

Make sure that all your least important pages ALWAYS link to our most important pages which invariably are your money or sales pages. Also and this is critical:

“make sure that your most important pages NEVER link to your least important pages”

Note: this point here is quoted as being the most important point
In order to do this you need to use the rel=”nofollow” method in the “a” tag on any link that you don’t want passing Google Page Rank.

The example used on the stompernet blog is Ex. http://stompernet.com” rel=”nofollow”>Click Here

The full article is available on the stompernet blog so access it here

Chase the Long-tail, Not the Wrong-Tail

Did you know that there is 20 or 30% more traffic just waiting for you to be captured if you go after the long tail however the long tail can be difficult to go after if you try the usual SEO tactics. This is where Dan Thiess from the Stompernet faculty explains how to do this. I have summarised the key points below the full article is available on the blog – http://www.stompernetblog.com.

1. Just work them in naturally, wherever you can

2. start using your long tail keywords in anchor text

3. When you’re in the long tail, it’s about the quantity and variety that contribute cumulatively to the traffic

I love this last tip from the stompernet article and quote it here:

BONUS TIP: While you’re looking at your analytics anyway, grab the keywords that people found you with ACCIDENTALLY, and start targeting those, too

Create, Control, Converse, CONVERT!

This article is all about social marketing and making sure you do things properly and do not get shunned

Firstly – Create your profile in all the key social media places – YouTube, Twitter, Linked In, Facebook and MySpace just for starters. Then create content everywhere, blogs, squidoo lenses etc.

Secondly – Control by linking all the places together and distribute content everywhere – this is just like a email list.

Thirdly – Converse with the crowd and respond on your blog and everywhere else by following where your name/brand is being mentioned e.g. by tracking this on twitter, setting up google alerts

Fourthly – Convert – this can only be done if you have built up some trust based on the content you have provided and the relationship you have built up (all very mass control if you ask me!) Once you have the trust, things you recommend (e.g. Stomping The Search Engines) will be bought as they respect you.

20 Questions for Content Creation

This article is based on the motto “content is king” as you need information for e.g. your website and blogs. Quoting from the article:

The more, the better - and the faster you can create content and deploy it, the faster you’ll start seeing increased traffic AND sales

How to do this is the basis of this article and is information gleaned from Mike Koenigs (Traffic Geyser fame). I have taken just a snippet of this full article and reproduced below, the full article is on http://www.stompernetblog.com.

1. Write down the top 10 most frequently asked questions that your visitors have about your product or service.
This is all about checking your market intelligence. Once you have the questions answer them and that is the basis of the first 10 pieces of content

2. Write down the top 10 questions your visitors SHOULD be asking about your product or service.
Then answer these questions with benefits and that’s another 10 pieces of content to add to your website, forum or any other place you have

Hopefully you found this usefu, let me know your thoughts

Best wishes
Gavin
