I have just reviewed the approach of Jeff Johnson’s Traffic Voodoo - a new 8 week traffic getting training program containing access to training materials and live group coaching calls in a new membership site.

Firstly, Traffic Voodoo is NOT intended for newbies however there is a newbie element if required but Jeff has made this very clear, it is not designed for newbies out there. I get the feeling it is very focused on real life examples (he mentions this a lot!) and is a step by step guide to what Jeff uses in his business.

Day 1 of the pre-launch is March 22nd with Jeff providing his Traffic Launcher Formula Cheat Sheets with GO-LIVE on March 29th so here’s what Traffic Voodoo – Traffic Getting Program is all about:

Week 1 & 2 – Traffic Getting Quick Start

This is all about Jeff’s best stuff, the things he uses every day. What websites you should create, how to create opt in pages, squeeze pages, getting traffic and converting traffic

Week 3 – Converting more of your traffic into leads and money

All about tracking and conversions, use of banner ads, creating your own banners.

Looking at real life examples, showing you inside Jeff’s business

Testing and conversion – opt in templates,
Real life examples bothinside Internet marketing and also outside the im space

Week 4 – Social Media Traffic Machine

Focusing on YouTube, Facebook particularly. Looking at these as a sales funnel

Week 5 – Instant Traffic Money Machine

Use of PPC, PPV, CPA. How to get this traffic and dirt cheap, how to test traffic, how to convert and look at real life offers
Do you want traffic at 1c or 2c per click?

Week 6 – Instant Affiliate traffic

How to add affiliates to send more traffic and how to sell others affiliate products.
All about creating influence and respect amongst your community. What pushes Jeff’s buttons!

Week 7 – List Building Money Machine

Did you know that Jeff’s list is small compared to others(probably Frank and co.!) I know from experience that Jeff has his own unqiue style and jeff is very good at building relationships with his list.

Your list is your instant traffic – very List Control!

Week 8 – Review

Jeff will go over all traffic getting areas again in grouop coaching calls

Traffic Voodoo – Overall Product

Firstly it is not an interview type product, it is a traffic getting training program teaching you all about how to get more traffic and how to convert it into more money. Jeff will have some gurus and some non gurus helping out Jeff who already make money

If you would like more information and to be at the fore front of the pre-launch to jeff johnsons’ traffic voodoo on March 22nd, here’s the link – Traffic Voodoo

I don’t know if it is just me but is it internet marketing seminar season?

In the past week I have seen advertising for Armand Morin’s “Armand Morin Live” event which will be held in Los Angeles on March 12th – 14th, Perry Marshall’s Adwords Master Event Summit seminar will be held in Maui March 1st to 3rd and of course the big one being StomperNet LIVE 9 in Atlanta March 25th – 28th.

I guess the reason must be that it is spring but would love these to be more spread out a bit so more of us can attend more than one internet marketing training event due to costs.

So what are they all about well let me explain in my internet marketing seminar review or should I say preview:

Armand Morin Live

This is an intensive 3 day event being run solely by Armand. What i have heard so far is that he will cover some pretty interesting topics not least the Visa/Mastercard crackdown with continuity programs which should be very interesting to see. And as good but probably boring! is the coverage on the stricter FTC regulations.

Aside from these areas which every internet marketer needs to know now, there are the following topics:

How to dominate the “local search” business.
This is to me key now for small businesses – make use of Google local it is excellent

Why your “marketing sequence” is likely killing your conversions – and an easy method for quickly fixing it.
I am not too sure what is likely to be covered here, doesn’t sound overly interesting to me

How to REALLY leverage social media tools like Twitter, Facebook and Google Buzz.
Blah Blah – more social media stuff – the Google Buzz reference is interesting though as I wonder exactly where this will head – will it compete with Facebook – I doubt it

THE most effective (and highest converting) salesletter you should use
Interested to hear what is going to be said here, especially after seeing the power of video sales letters which every Internet marketer uses nowadays. This must be the way of the future and what will be covered here

Why Microsoft Bing is quickly becoming the “go-to” place for pay per click marketing and how you can easily stay ahead of your competition
Really? I doubt it in most countries – maybe in USA this could be the case but I know in other countries such as Australia that Google takes about 90% of ALL serach engine traffic. Maybe this has the better ROI but that’s it. If you don’t get any traffic who cares about ROI!

Perry Marshall – Google Adwords Master Summit

Now before I start to explain what this is – there is a BIG caveat. You must have documented evidence that you spend over $5000 on PPC every month as this is a serious training on Google Adwords

Learn about some very serious Adwords features and knowledge from Perry and his team of experts. I had a look through the speaker list and I am seriously impressed – none other than Amit Mehta from PPC Classroom, Glenn Livingston of Rocket Clicks who a friend of mine said he is one guy you must follow, Jonathan Mizel who has been around for years and will be discussing media buys and one very interesting guy who I would love to see being Richard Stokes, president of AdGooRoo.com.

Richard is purportedly going to show some really key things like:

What’s the difference between the ACTUAL number of searches Google gets, and the number they tell you in their keyword tool

What were the top 10 affiliate ads in Google in 2009

What image ads are getting the most impressions on Google’s content network this month

and to quote Perry

You cannot be in the same room with Richard Stokes and not go away with 5X more insight on how the Google machine works

All in all an experts conference so head to Maui for at least a great holiday as well!

StomperNet LIVE 9

Tis is put on mainly for all the StomperNet members but there are limited tickets made available for the public for $197 but this is pretty good value considering you get 4 days of Internet marketing training for that price – bargain if you ask me.

Whereas most events are pretty standard stuff being speaker 1 speaker 2 and so on – I am very impressed with their strategy and is not so much a seminar but a full on conference with six separate tracks for breakout sessions plus the usual speakers – interestingly but there are no big headliners on this one.

Beginner Track: Learn the basics in core disciplines like SEO and Social Media

Advanced Track: Go deep with the StomperNet faculty members

Tools Track: The StomperTools partners will be there to show you how to get the most out of the Tools

Business Models Track: Learn about eCommerce, affiliate marketing, and other profitable online models from the best in the world.

Boutique Track: Learn more about StomperNet’s boutique products like StomperSEOPro and StomperMobile

Faculty Roundtable/Site Review Track – get your website reviewed by the experts or sit with them and ask your burning questions.

Definitely not the normal event is it!

Well that’s it – any more internet marketing seminars or events comig up? Let me know and I’ll do a write up

Just been watching an interesting video about facebook advertising from Ryan Deiss about this being the new Google Adwords. Not suprising Ryan is about to launch Facebook Ad Power so the pre-launch is in full swing.

I have not seen anything like this before so it intrigued me and by all accounts, now is the time to start to learn about how to use Facebook as its popularity continues to grow.

Did you know that there are over 400 million Facebook members now and incredibly they have 39,000,000,000 (that’s BILLION) views per month.

What is amazing though with this new facebook advertising method is that you can advertise by demographics which is incredible.

How about advertising by sex, marital status, geography, interests, hobbies – now that is impressive and think about it. Whatever the niche you are in you can simply choose the demographics you are in. This means the traffic you will get is going to be ultra targeted.

Let’s use wedding planning as an example. What do you think you need to choose to advertise too?. How about single females in their 20s. Isn’t that great – your cost per click now and of course your cost per conversion will shoot up compared to Google.

Facebook Ad Power

Now that you understand the power of facebook advertising, let’s talk about what Ryan is up too.

His team have created a course called Facebook Ad Power which is a tested hundreds of ad variations, landing pages etc. and distilled this down into a course. With the price of the course, you get 12 months of updates so as things get tested and tweaked, you will get the latest updates. I like this sort of strategy as things will change and at least now you can get the benefits of updated sales copy, landing pages optimized for Facebook and much much more.

If you would like to find more, head on over to Ryan’s main site at interestingly - http://www.newtraffichoneyhole.com/or if you simply want to watch the sales video here it is

By now you know that during internet marketing product launches you get a lot of content from the internet marketers and none more so than from jeff johnson as part of his underground training lab 2.0 coaching club relaunch.

What we see next in his launch (here)is how he goes about making a viral video in order to dominate the front page of google for a specific keyword. Once this video is on google and across a number of the top ten positions bang it goes off!.

In this case he explains it is all by creating a single video and then publishing it through a number of sources namely social media and video sharing sites. Pretty easy heh?

How to make your viral video tutorial

The core idea which I have summarized from his viral video tutorial is using an example of a video jeff created about a casio camera. Here it is.

Create your video (I know I am stating the obvious!)

Upload your video on multiple video sharing sites such as YouTube, Viddler, Metacafe, Daily Motion, Atom Films etc.
This is done by using either trafficgeyser or tubemogul which allow you to upload your videos from these particular sites. Traffic Geyser is recommended by jeff as the better product

Goto socialmarker.com and use this service to bookmark the page where the video is located at sites such as Digg, Reddit, Stumble Upon

Create (if you haven’t already) a MySpace, Facebook and Squidoo social profile page and add the video onto these pages

Goto socialmarker.com again and bookmark these social profile pages

Create up to 3 different blogs about the market that the video is in and create stories for that market which reference the video page

Add an RSS feed from your blog onto your MySpace, facebook and squidoo page

Now, what you see here is that you have created a number of different pages across a large number of web sites all linking to each other. Google sees these as being different as the videos are from different video sharing sites and are seen as authorities due to all the different sites bookmarking them.

In order to make money from this, on your social profile pages such as Myspace and Facebook as well as the blogs, you need to link to a money site e.g. have a website which is an authority on casio cameras which promotes casio cameras through Amazon.

As you can see, Jeff provides a lot of good content and ideas from his coaching club and that’s just one small segment. You can see the full 15 minute video here -> How to make a video go viral and you can sign up to access more of his content.

For all of you out there fascinated in the buzz that is social media, here is my launch report on the “Winning at Social Media” pre-launch webinar that perry belcher and ryan deiss ran on December 18th 2008.

The webinar was 2 hours and 18 minutes full of information on how to get the best of Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and of course blogs. For me, I found it invaluable and very interesting suffice to say I summarized all the key points and managed to fill 25 pages of PDF file which you are more than welcome to download, read, sell this report, offer it as a bonus in your packages, (digital or physical) give it away for free to your clients, on your blog, with material you send out, etc.

To give you a glimpse of some of the content, I quote below:

“Facebook is the King Kong of social media and is now a refined version of Myspace. This is basically a webpage all about you. It contains all the stuff you like, videos, jokes, favorite things etc. and is by far the largest social media site with 140 million active members spending on average 19 minutes a day, 3-4 times a day. This is the most viral website in the world.
Comparing Facebook to Google – It took Google 10 years to get to 50 million members whereas it took Facebook 19 months. The difference is that Google is a tool, whereas Facebook and YouTube for that matter are communities”

It really is quite extraordinary when you go through this and understand what is happening with these social media sites – PLEASE PLEASE check out Twitter – http://www.twitter.com for example and see what is happening there – it is like being on the frontier of the Internet again.

With that, click here to download your FREE 25 page report, “Winning at Social Media” and discover why you should get involved with social media and sign up to Perry Belcher’s training starting january 2009.

Good Luck

Thanks

The winning at social media training being put on by perry belcher and ryan deiss kicks off on January 5th. In it you will learn how to get 100% free traffic through these social media sites and from what I have seen so far, this is definitely true. Think of the potential this gives you?

As of now, there are 31 seats left on the training to become a social media master so head on down soon. I am currently writing a summary of the 2 hour 18 minute webinar that perry and ryan put on on December 18th which will be ready early next week so if you don’t get on their course, you will get a lot of useful content free when I release it.

The key social media sites that you will learn about are Twitter (brilliant tool), Facebook and YouTube which will be the big thing for 2009.

You can sign up on http://www.winningatsocialmedia.com/training

Good Luck

Thanks
Gavin
