Top 10 Mobile Marketing Advertising Examples

Check out these good mobile marketing advertising examples that have been released by the StomperMobile guys. I get the impression that the sign up has not been what they expected, what with sending out this content plus now the list of content for lesson 1.

It has got me thinking though these mobile marketing advertising examples are great particularly for offline businesses particularly that this could give companies a leading edge against others e.g. restaurants. According to Dan Hollings, these have all had increased results by 16% or more in a business.

StomperMobile Case Study

This is an interesting case study from the StomperMobile guys showing the power of Internet marketing using text messaging to generate buzz and therefore new customers.

In this case study The Attic – as streetwear chain in California used StomperQast the technology behind StomperMobile to create buzz around a 4th July sale.

This particular case study showed the effectiveness of mobile marketing over traditional email marketing as it is different – a 20% sales / conversion rate is pretty impressive with 232/1200 prospects on their mobile list turning up at the store

How did StomperQast help do this?

  • The Attic created a blog post asking for a customer to text “AtticSale” to 69302 which is the StomperQast code
    Note: this method only works for users in the USA, other countries have to use different mechanisms
    69302 is the StomperQast code that all customers of StomperMobile will use to get people to text too
  • The blog post offered a compelling offer
  • Result – 232 consumers turned up at the store

StomperMobile – How to market to mobile devices

There is nothing like a new product that is NEW and EXCITING and StomperMobile from the StomperNet team looks like just that. We all know that mobile devices such as the Apple iPhone, smart phones such as the Nokia E71 which I currently use are going to be the way of the future with the iPhone at the forefront of this technology so being marketers amongst us – we MUST know how to market to mobile devices – i.e. mobile marketing

Dan Hollings a StomperNet faculty member is the brains behind this and if you check out his website, you will see what I mean – I have to admit I have never seen SMS marketing tips being sent out before but this shows you he is there NOW.

StomperMobile – Lesson 1

On entering the StomperMobile launch page and entering the usual email address(just skip by Brad Fallon!) you will get to Lesson 1 and 9 minutes of info from Dan but the real nifty thing is the follow up marketing by social media via MSN and text messaging – will it be a bit overwhelming – let’s see

In the sign up you are presented with this as part of the screen:

Just fill in your details(whatever country you are in its OK – I did this from Australia and it worked fine) as you get immediate follow ups and mobile coupons (P.S. Its a discount off StomperMobile when it is released!).
